Animal Tracker registration for dogs
Pet Owner Account
There are 2 types of Pet Owner account; Basic and Premium.
Basic Pet Owner Account
This is a free account which you can open on Animal Tracker. Contact details, such as address and phone numbers are frozen and if you need to update these at a later date then you will be required to upgrade to Premium.
Premium Pet Owner Account
This requires a one-off payment of £16.95. Click here to see the benefits.
Pet owners may be required to pay for a Premium account to complete the microchip registration/transfer. This could be the case if you already have one animal registered in that account, or if you have bought an animal from another pet owner.
The above information applies to accounts opened online using a registration / transfer code. Other charges apply for microchip registrations where there is no registration or transfer code.
Paper registration forms may incur an additional administrative fee.
Breeder Account
This is a free account which you can open on Animal Tracker by clicking the 'activate basic account' found at the bottom of the breeder registration page. This allows you to hold up to 20 records of animals you have bred or who you have had microchipped and are the first registered keeper of, in the account at any one time. When you sell an animal you can generate a transfer code. The new keeper will be required to have a Premium account to complete the transfer.
Microchip Implanter Account
You can open a free account on Animal Tracker. We will verify your account by your Implanter PIN. You can also select you are a Breeder if this is applicable.
Veterinarian Account
You can open a free account on Animal Tracker. If you are registering microchips on Animal Tracker you should also tick the box to select you are an Implanter. We will verify your account by your PIN or other method and you will receive an email when these checks are completed.
Animal Warden Account
You can open a free account on Animal Tracker. We will verify your account by contacting the local Council and you will receive an email when these checks are completed.
Welfare Organisation Account
You can open a free account on Animal Tracker. If you are registering microchips on Animal Tracker you should also tick the box to select you are an Implanter. We will verify your account by requesting your implanter PIN, charity number or by another method and you will receive an email when these checks are completed. This account allows you to hold multiple animals in your keepership and enables you to generate transfer codes to give to people who buy/adopt your animals, so they can register themselves as the new keeper for free.
